“Hosea 10:12 (KJV) Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.”
My life is not mine,
For I have been made one with God,
I walk not in my own path nor line,
Servile to the commands of my Lord.
Day by day my spirit and mind,
In my Saviour’s brilliant light,
Are submerged, my hope to bind,
Promises everlasting, my prized delight.
Precious is that blood that made me right,
Through the Lamb who took shame and pain,
He razed the hill concealing Father’s sight,
To present me before Him, spotless again.
On that day, the showers were profound,
Righteousness was poured in endless measure,
In awing spectrum of grace, peace I found,
From then, I knew my persistent joy was sure.
Now I live each day in His greatness,
For when the cunning baits of the devil come,
I will dearly cling to the gift of God’s righteousness,
And never a prey of Satan become.
