Welcome to this blog. We trust that you had a lovely time during Easter celebration. If the Lord tarries, we shall witness more in good health and prosperity. Amen.

The topic of discourse today is “The Beauty of Christ’s Resurrection”. I pray that your mind is opened and there is light in Jesus’ name.
Glory to God Almighty, the Father of grace who saved us with His mighty outstretched arm. For all indeed have sinned and come short of God’s glory. But because of His love and covenant that never fails, He justified us freely by His grace. Jesus died for our sins. He died in our stead. He alone could have done it because men were without strength (helpless and hopeless). However, the Strong and Mighty One came and delivered us. But, that wasn’t all. He rose again. Hallelujah! His resurrection birthed us into newness of life and glory.

“1 Peter 1:3 – Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,”

The resurrection of Christ begot us to a living hope. He brought us out of the miry clay and washed, sanctified, justified and glorified us. He took every punishment in our stead, died and rose up, giving us a new life. In other words, 2 Corinthians 5:17 was because of the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ and so it is till this day. We became a new creation by His resurrection.

2 Corinthians 5:17 – Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

“Romans 6:3-4 – Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?
Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.”

Jesus took all the shame and punishment upon Himself, having wiped out and clean the handwriting of requirements that was contrary against us.

“Colossians 2:14 – having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.”

The wages of sin is death but Christ made us clean of the guilt, having diverted the offense to Himself. He wiped clean the handwriting contrary to us (that is, the law- death). He gave grace instead of law.
His resurrection gave us a redefinition. The devil thought he’s won the battle. But Jesus’ death wasn’t the end, for He foretold His death and resurrection while on earth. And His word doesn’t miss the mark.
Matthew 12:40 For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

“John 2:19-22 – Jesus answered and said to them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.”

Then the Jews said, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and will You raise it up in three days?”
But He was speaking of the temple of His body.
Therefore, when He had risen from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this to them; and they believed the Scripture and the word which Jesus had said.”

Even the chief priests and Pharisees knew about it

“Matthew 27:62-63 On the next day, which followed the Day of Preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees gathered together to Pilate,
saying, “Sir, we remember, while He was still alive, how that deceiver said, ‘After three days I will rise.”

They did everything in their capacity to make sure He doesn’t rise from the dead or escape from the tomb. But they failed. Death could not hold Him down. He rose in glory.”

“Luke 24:6-8 – He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee,
saying, ‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.’ ”
And they remembered His words.”

The beauty of our faith is that we serve a living God with a living word. He said He would rise on the third day; He did and they remembered His word. What a great testimony!
When He rose, we also rose with Him into a new life. He gave us a brand new life in Him. We became a new creation in Him.

1 Corinthians 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive.
Also, His resurrection is the hope of our faith. It’s the very beauty and glory of our faith.

“1 Corinthians 15:12-19 – Now if Christ is preached that He has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?
But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ is not risen.
And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty.
Yes, and we are found false witnesses of God, because we have testified of God that He raised up Christ, whom He did not raise up—if in fact the dead do not rise.
For if the dead do not rise, then Christ is not risen.
And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins!
Then also those who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished.
If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable.”

Jesus said to Martha He’s the resurrection and life.

“John 11:25- Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.”

Beloved, Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. In Him is life. Do not seek for Jesus (life) elsewhere. You can’t find life elsewhere. Remember what the angels told the women who visited Jesus’ tomb in Luke 24:5. Do not look for the living among the dead. Jesus is a living God. Our Faith in Him is a living faith. His love for us is a living and everlasting love. Our hope is a living hope. The men in Christ are the most blessed of God’s creation. Are you reading this and wondering what it means? Do you want Jesus to be the Lord and King of your life? Then, you’ve made an excellent decision. Say this prayer with me. Lord Jesus, I call you my Lord. I believe in your name and that you came to die for my sins and you rose on the third day for my justification.

Today, I receive you into my life. I’m saved, you are my Saviour. Amen. If you said and meant that prayer, you have been saved. You are now a partaker of the glorious inheritance in Christ. Hallelujah! Find a Bible believing church and grow among the believers.

We hope this blessed you. Share with family and friends. Do visit the blog regularly for awesome and blessed posts. God bless you.
