In life, there will always be those who might dislike you, persecute you, despise and hurt you; but you must only respond in love towards them. The behaviors and actions of people to you should not provoke you to act contrary to your nature in Christ.

Matthew 5:43-44
[43]Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
[44]But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

The summation of God’s character is love and anyone who will genuinely be His, must have His nature. We are to emulate Him by walking in love. God is love, and anyone who loves is of God.

In our journey of faith, there will always be those who might hate us. Some may even go to the extent of accusing you falsely. All of these does not stop God’s plan of blessing and promoting you. It is natural for haters to hate, but you are not like them. You are to respond only in love to all matters.

1 John 4:7-8
[7]Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
[8]He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

Our love-walk is the primary proof that we love God and it tells how much we have allowed His nature in us. The ability to love people that are unlovable is what makes us unique here on earth. When someone offends you, don’t go about shouting or trying to prove your innocence. This might cause you to do what is contrary to righteousness. Rather, keep walking in love. Put your trust in God who is able to justify you without your input.

By allowing the Holy Spirit to work in you, you will have the full capacity to walk love.

Romans 5:5
[5]And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
Beloved, let us love the world as Christ did, and gave Himself as the perfect sacrifice for man’s sins.

Ephesians 5:2
[2]And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling savour.

How can one lay down his life for his enemies if not motivated by love? There is no love greater than this. Christ died for all, not by responding to the sins behavior and attitude of all, but by responding in love. This love opened the door of grace that brought salvation unto all men.
You can do the same. You can love the same. Love without hypocrisy.

Ephesians 4:1-3
[1]I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
[2]With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
[3]Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

God bless you as you do so. Amen.
