Everything we have and enjoy is because of Jesus. It is by him and through him that we have access to God. The undeserved favor and mercy God has for us, which we receive every day comes only because of Jesus. We receive because he came to us. God found us. Grace found us.
For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
The Bible says the law was given, but grace came. Grace is a person. Grace is Jesus Christ.
When you have Jesus in your life, you have grace.
God’s unmerited favor.
God’s undeserved goodness.
God’s riches at Christ’s expense.
He brought this grace by giving himself for the sin of whole world.
Jesus is the substitute for the sin of the world. He was punished for your sins. He was wounded for your transgressions.
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
1 Peter 2:24
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
You might think that you are a sinner who does not deserve grace at all. Well, may I tell you that you are a perfect candidate for grace? You are qualified. In the scripture, Jesus gave grace to the sinners. He forgave their sins and pardoned their iniquities without accusing them of their sins. Those whom Jesus scolded were the people who thought they were not sinners; the Pharisees and Scribes. These were the self-righteousness sinners.
Once you realize that you have come to the end of yourself, the only person that can help you is Jesus. By grace, he will save you through faith in his name. Grace will come to you, lift you, wash you clean and decorate you.
His grace is ever sure.
His grace is ever true.
His grace is always abounding.
Be ready to receive him today. He will never cast you away. He cares for you and wants to have you come into his glorious family.
Have you made up your mind? Say this prayer, “ Lord Jesus, I thank you for your grace. I thank you for coming to me, I couldn’t have helped myself, but you are always close. I believe in you, I believe in your name, and I believe that you died for my sins and risen by the power of God for my justification. I am free and liberated in your name. Grace has come to me today, never to leave again. I receive strength for steadfastness. I am crowned with holiness and righteousness. I am united with my Lord and Saviour forever. In Jesus’s name I pray. Amen.”
If you said that prayer by faith, you are now a believer.
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Recognize a church where you would be well nourished with the word of God, attend and give yourself wholly to God. His grace is sufficient for you. Amen.
