There is absolutely nothing happening on the surface of the earth or heaven above that is without the knowledge of our God – the Omnipresent and Omniscient. He sees all things, knows all things and understands all things. The good we see, and the bad. The joy and the sorrow. The refreshing and the pain. None is without his knowledge. Someone may ask, but why does God inflicts pain? Wait a minute! You did not read that in what I wrote above. God is not the author of pain. You must come to know that anything, any description, that is not consistent with Jesus is not God’s. This is the truth you must bear in mind. Only in Jesus is God fully revealed and understood.
Do not think that God is the source of your pains while you still depend on him to take the pains away. You don’t run to your enemy for solution to problems. Do you? In the contrary, you run to your friend for help. God cannot be your friend and at the same time your enemy. God is good all the time. No variableness in him.
James 1:17 (KJV)
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
God is not your enemy, the devil is. 1 Peter 5:8.
God is your friend. He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7.
God identifies with your pains, he identifies with your shame and regrets.
God identifies with your setbacks, he identifies with your shameful addictions.
God identifies with your fall, he identifies with your temptation and frailty. God identifies with your overwhelming struggles, and he’s on your side to lift you up from the sin’s pit.
Hebrews 2:18 (KJV)
For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.
Jesus is able to help, aid, and relieve you of all your struggle and pains. In the first part of the text above, we read that Jesus also suffered being tempted. Whatever it is that you are going through is not what he cannot empathize with. We have a God who is able to understand and sympathize with us. He has a shared feeling with our weaknesses and infirmities and liabilities.
Hebrews 4:15 (KJV)
For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
This is the word of God. This should make you rest, assured that he is on your side. Trust God to bring you out of your lowly state. He is the Lord, God the Almighty. He still saves. He still heals. He still delivers. He still refreshes. He still empowers. Come to him in prayer, tell him all that trouble your heart. He is able to set you above them all. He is abundantly able to take away your pain. He is able to heal your wounds. He is able to deliver you from besetting sins. He is able to put you right on track. Just believe, and you will see his goodness in your life. May the grace of God be with you. Amen.
