God is Love

Hello, You are welcome. Today, we want to open our mind as we understand love. Open your Bible to the popular John 3:16, as we begin today's exposition. John 3 (NIV) 16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. The bible says "for God so loved the world that He gave...". The "so much love" of God was evidenced or demonstrated in His giving. It is imperative that you understand love cannot be committed to self but to another. Love is commitment towards others. John 15 (NIV) 13 Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. God is Love and He is committed not to Himself but to us and that is why He chose us before the foundation of the world. He has and will always be committed to us. He will never forsake or abandon us because He Loves us. That means even when you mess up, He is still there with you. Just think, He lives to Love you.
